Rural house in Oza dos Ríos since 1920: former priest’s and carpenter Manuel’s home. Handcrafted wood, granite and outdoor spaces for eight guests.

The upper floor holds bedrooms under wooden panelling. Downstairs, a living room with fireplace, equipped kitchen and stone porch welcome you.

Our essence

Manuel and the wood that still lives in the house

Manuel was the carpenter of Oza dos Ríos and lived in this house from 1920. The workshop occupied part of the ground floor; the smell of freshly planed wood mixed with smoke from the fireplace. Doors, cupboards, stairs, chestnut and oak beams: every piece of wood inside was made by him for his home and for the village.

The crib still kept in the house —the same one Maryluz slept in as a child— is his work. The restoration honoured that memory: beams, floors and structure of the old farmhouse were kept; before that it was the priest’s home and shares the garden with the stone chapel. Maryluz now welcomes those seeking a rural house with history in A Coruña province.

Equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave and central island. The hearth remains the gathering point in cold months — as when the carpenter dried wood by the fire.

Two bathrooms with bidet, shower and towels included. On different floors for family and group comfort.
